On Sunday, June 10, Morgan Rae Becker, daughter of Charles and Cheri Becker became the bride of John David Bustamante of Fort Lupton, Colo.
The ceremony was held at Providence Concord Presbyterian Church of rural Bowling Green, officiated by Rev. David Land. Acting as Maid of Honor was the bride’s younger sister, Ms. Grace Becker, John’s best friend, Mr. Steve Diep, assumed the role of Best Man.
Music was provided by Mrs. Carolyn Shaw with Mrs. Jamie Drobil singing “Always,”
which was also sung at the bride’s parents and maternal grandparent’s marriages. The flowers of Calla lilies, Tiger lilies and roses in clover and persimmon were displayed by the Rainbow Flower Shop.
Included in the wedding party were: Ushers-Mr. Seth Becker, Morgan’s cousin and Mr. Jim Bustamante, brother of John; Sound- Mr. Paul Bustamante, brother of John and Mr. Russell Becker, brother of Morgan. The ring bearer was Mr. Isaiah Bustamante, John’s nephew and the lovely flower girl was Miss Rachael Smith, cousin of Morgan. Handling the guest book, programs and general assistant was Andrea Ankrom, long time friend of Morgan.
The bride and groom traveled from the church to the Vera Community Center in the bride’s childhood dream of a horse-drawn carriage provided by Mr. Bob Rucker. Mr. Rucker kindly provided rides for reception attendees.
The beautiful wedding cake was created by Mrs. Ann Glass following the “happily ever after” theme requested by the couple. The meal was catered by Hickman’s IGA of Bowling Green. Keeping the food lines moving were Ms. Bess Gamm, Mrs. Georgia Gamm and Mrs. Joyce Gamm, all cousins of the bride, with the clean up led by Ms. Amy Becker, also the bride’s cousin.
Following a honeymoon in Solvang, Calif., the couple returned to the bride’s home
to pack and move to Fort Lupton, Colo., with assistance from Charles and Grace Becker.
