The City of Bowling Green will be hosting its annual Movie-in-the-Park event this Saturday, Aug. 2.
The event has been rescheduled several times already this year, each time due to less-than-ideal weather.
The movie will be shown outside at the Bowling Green City Park.
The movie will be Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.
Madagascar 3 (2012) is an animated comedy. In the movie, the main characters are still struggling, to get home to New York. This time their journey takes them to Europe where they are pursued by a French animal control officer. The zoo animals purchase a failing traveling circus. They revitalize the business and along the way find themselves reconsidering where their true home really is.
The Movie-in-the-Park is being provided by the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department. Two movie events were recommended by the Park Board Advisory Committee and approved by the Board of Aldermen.
The movie will start around dusk and is free-of-charge. Movie goers are welcome to bring their own food and drink.
