Plans are being finalized for Bible School to be held at New Harmony Christian Church on Aug. 1 and 2.

A light supper will be served at 5:30 on Friday evening, Aug. 1, with VBS beginning immediately following the meal.

VBS will resume on Saturday morning, August 2, at 9 a.m. with Bible lessons, crafts, and music for all ages.  There will be a carry-in meal at noon (with barbecued hot dogs being provided).

All children of the community are invited to attend.

CWF is once again conducting a “socks and undies drive” to provide new socks and undies for school-age children through the Hope Center.  Anyone wanting to make a monetary donation towards this project is invited to do so.

The Youth Group continues to be an active and vital part of the church.  They recently decided to use proceeds from their recent bake sale to pay for a weekly mowing of the church and cemetery grounds and also to purchase a gas card for a family in the community who is making regular trips for treatments for their young child.  They are serving Christ by serving others.

In addition, the church is collecting hand sanitizers for the Back 2 School Fair and has made a donation to same and is collecting items each month for Operation Christmas Child.

Worship services are held at 9 a.m. each Sunday and all are invited to attend.

Charles “Larry” Mills shared a message on behalf of Gideons International on Sunday, July 13, and a hymn sing will be held during the morning worship service on July 20.
