Vacation Bible School will be held at New Harmony Christian Church beginning Friday, July 19, at 5:30 p.m., with a light supper being served.

The theme is “Growing in Friendship with Jesus”, and lessons, music, crafts, and games will go along with this theme.

The farm theme will continue on Saturday morning, July 20, beginning at 9:30 a.m.  The church yard will have some farm animals attending VBS on that morning.

Activities will conclude with a carry-in meal at noon on Saturday.  Barbecued hot dogs and drinks will be furnished.

All children are invited to attend the classes and everyone is invited to join us for the noon meal.

A closing program will be held during worship services on Sunday, July 21 at 9 a.m.

The CWF group met on July 10 and elected officers for the coming year.

Those elected were:  Leala McClurg, president; Lindsey Kraft, vice-president; Kay Reading, secretary; and Deborah Kraft, treasurer.

Appreciation was expressed to Evelyn Constable and Dottie Morris who have served as president and vice-president, respectively, for the past few years.

Reading and Kraft are continuing to serve in the offices they have held in the past, and appreciation was expressed to them also.
