Local store accused of trademark infringement

A store in Bowling Green is facing accusations from purse maker, Coach Inc. for trademark infringement.
DiDi’s & GiGi’s Purse Strings ‘N Things is accused of selling counterfeit handbags. The Bowling Green store is not the only business to be hit with a lawsuit. Another Missouri store based out of St. Louis, FYI Trading Co., is also facing charges.
The lawsuits are a part of Coach Inc.’s Operation Turnlock, an effort to expose counterfeit sales of their merchandise. Starting in 2009, Operation Turnlock has already filed over 260 lawsuits against stores they claim are selling knockoffs across the United States.
Coach, Inc. is demanding $2 million in damages...
