Bobcats claw through Montgomery County in first game of the season
The Bowling Green Bobcats football squad flew into their season opener at full steam on Friday, Aug. 27 against the Montgomery County Wildcats.
The Bobcats swiftly defeated the Wildcats 37-6 on home turf.
In the first four minutes of the game, Jeff Pease rushed a touchdown for the Bobcats. After turning the ball back to the Wildcats, Bowling Green grabbed an interception, with Zach Pease running in another touchdown. After, a pass from Zach Pease to Matt Brown successfully executed a two-point conversion attempt.
After the defense held Montgomery County, the Bobcats took the ball again. Zach Pease made a quick pass to Jeff Pease, with Jeff running halfway...
