A Bowling Green man accused of violent actions, as well as theft and property damage, following a alleged dispute involving a former girlfriend will face an arraignment trial later this month in Pike County courts.
Joshua Niffen, 21, has been charged with three felony counts of burglary, property damage, and assault – causing serious injury after an incident that occurred on March 28.
Niffen is accused of entering an apartment and assaulting a person, damaging property there, and theft.
The defendant, represented by attorney Dean Gallego, was seen for a preliminary hearing on June 12. He will appear again in Pike County circuit courts before Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer for a July 23 arraignment.
According to available reports, Niffen has no previous criminal record.
