Pike County OATS held its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. June 26 at the Bowling Green Hi Rise.
Chairperson Donna McMahan opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance followed by the Lord’s Prayer.
Vice-chairperson Bette Maxwell read the May minutes due to the secretary being absent. The financial report was given by Audrey Scher, treasurer. Loretta Brown gave the group travel report.
Under new business, Maxwell asked for donations of purses and shoes to be given to Africans to help them get clean water. Items should be brought to the July meeting. Jack shared information about upcoming trips.
Everyone is welcome to attend OATS meetings. The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the Pike Pioneer Nutrition Center, Louisiana.
