The juncture of Pike County roads 481 and 466 is in the process of receiving a facelift. Although most Pike County residents will agree the upgrading of the area’s bridges is much-needed, few would state this area should be the focus of tax dollars.
According to Pike County Commissioner Dan Miller, CR 481 is “not heavily travelled, but still travelled.”
The area, located southwest of Bowling Green, is home to several Amish families, although only two live on this particular road. Another man pastures his cows on acreage accessed by the road.
