The Pike County Soil and Water Conservation District recently acquired a new vehicle.
Funding for the vehicle was provided to the Missouri Soil and Water Commission at the State level through a grant from USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
This vehicle will be used to assist the field office staff with surveying and implementing cost share practices. Missouri’s Soil and Water Conservation District’s, cost share programs, are funded through Missouri’s one-tenth-of-one-percent sales tax.
For more information about the Soil and Water Conservation District and the cost share practices the district offers, checkout their website,, or call the Bowling Green office at 573-324-3201 ext. 3.
