Pike-Lincoln Technical Center (PLTC) students attended the Missouri SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference at Linn State Technical College in Linn April 3 through 5.
Students left from PLTC early Thursday morning and spent the next three days competing and representing our school in different contests.
On Saturday, the results were announced and school officials were excited about how well the students performed.
Anothony Caruthers placed third in the Diesel Equipment Technology Post-Secondary contest.
Shane Coleman placed first in the Welding Technical Information Post-Secondary contest.
Dominic Ferrante, a Troy student, placed first in the Diesel Equipment Technology contest. He will be representing the State of Missouri at the National SkillsUSA Conference to be held this summer.
