Randall D. Barnes

Randall D. Barnes, age 56, Centralia, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born June 7, 1956 in Hannibal, the son of Ron and Norma (Jahn) Barnes. On June 7, 1975 he was united in marriage to Cynthia “Cindy” (Parker).

In addition to his wife Cindy of 37 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Norma Barnes of Mexico; two sons, Jared Barnes and his wife Kelly of Centralia, and Brian Barnes and his wife Aubrey of Springfield, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Presli, Hank, Kate, Keira and Alyssa; one brother Wayde Barnes and his wife Linda of Mexico; one sister Joy Carpenter and her husband George of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Ron Barnes, one sister, Rhonda Barnes, preceded him in death.

Mr. Barnes graduated from Mexico High School. He worked as a bill collector for Medi-Credit Corp. in Columbia, for many years. He was a member of the Mexico Masonic Lodge No. 354, Moolah Shrine Temple in St. Louis  and the Little Dixie Shrine Club. He enjoyed golf, toy tractors, especially Allis Chalmers, and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment was in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia with a Masonic Service at 7:30 pm.
