Ruby Eoff Feith, 75, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 at the Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Jerry Gamm officiating. Burial was in the Bowling Green Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Feith was born on June 24, 1937 in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of James William and Frances Edna (Gamm) Gillum. On Sept. 18, 1955 she married Jules E. Eoff in Bowling Green; he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1978. She later married Ellis E. Feith on April 5, 1980, he preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1998.
Survivors include one son, Jules “Buddy” E. Eoff Jr., of Vandalia; three daughters: Sherry F. Halemeyer and husband Randy, of Paris, Penny C. Eoff, of Bowling Green, and Betty “Duke” S. Myers and husband Kenneth, of New Hartford; nine grandchildren: Jules “BJ” E. Eoff III, Coletta N. Eoff, Misty Eoff, James W. Halemeyer, Laura M. Sprague, Shannon M. Jennings, Shonda L. Ingram, Daniel B. Myers, and Katie A. Myers; and many great grandchildren. Also surviving are nine step children, many step grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and one sister Opal Coletta in infancy.
She was raised and lived most of her life in the Bowling Green and Curryville area. Ruby worked in healthcare as a nurse and ward clerk in Louisiana and Mexico. She also owned and operated R&E Used Furniture and General Store with her husband for many years in Curryville. Ruby enjoyed word puzzles, playing bingo and going to flea markets.
