Eastern Missouri Health Services, a service of Pike County Memorial Hospital (PCMH), is pleased to announce that Tami Schneidler has assumed leadership of the Bowling Green and Louisiana Clinics.
“Our rural health clinics are an important service for our community,” said Lorraine Harness, PCMH CEO and administrator. “We have continued to expand our services over the years to meet the needs of the region we serve. I’m pleased to have Tami Schneidler move into the director position.”
Tami, who is from New Hartford, earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1994 from the Barnes College of Nursing in St. Louis. She is married to Kurt and the mother of two daughters, Taylor and Ashton.
Throughout the 12 years that Tami has worked for PCMH, she has worked in many areas of the hospital and clinics. She began as a nurse’s aide in the late 80’s and worked in many departments doing a variety of duties. After becoming an RN, she worked in the ER, the medical/surgical floor and in surgery. She has been with the clinic since 2010 and says she loves the clinic environment.
“I love working in rural health and serving our patients who are like family,” Tami said. “I’m so glad we’re able to offer not only primary care but also many specialty clinics to residents of Pike County so they don’t have to travel to get needed healthcare.”
