A Bowling Green man facing multiple sex-related charges is to be seen in Pike County courts for pre-trial hearing slated Sept. 16.
Jeffrey Glen Silvey, 33, entered a guilty plea earlier this summer to another case, in which he was sending sexually provocative text messages to an underaged girl for more than a year. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
Silvey has been accused of a total of eight felony charges, including six counts of child molestation and two counts of sexual misconduct for allegedly partaking in sexual acts with a 10-year-old girl.
The defendant will be seen for a pre-trial conference for this case next Monday. The case is also currently slated for an Oct. 17 jury trial.
