When the Pike County Fair ended on Saturday evening, members of the fair board not only began to tally statistics and income, but also to look ahead to next year’s fair, which will be July 23-27.
“We won’t have any concrete numbers probably for a few more days,” Tim Gamm said in an interview. Gamm served as the president of the fair board this past year. He will serve in that same role for the 2019 fair.
“We have a fair board meeting on Wednesday night, so we may have an idea, or get at least a rough idea of how everything went at that meeting,” Gamm said.

Hunter Burt, 13, and Caden, Burt, 12, ride the Cliff Hanger carnival ride on Tuesday afternoon at the 2018 Pike County Fair. Both of the Burts are student at Clopton and reside in Eolia.
