The First United Methodist Church, located at 8 North Broadway in Bowling Green, invites children ages four to 12 years old to get ready to dive into fun at this year’s Bible school, “Operation Overboard: Dare To Go Deep With God”.
The fun begins Sunday, Aug. 4 and concludes Tuesday, Aug. 6. A family meal will be served each evening at 5:30 p.m., with children adventures following from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
To explore and experience God’s underwater universe, the children will have adventures in deep sea voyages into Bible fun with costumed storytellers, puppet shows, creative crafts, exciting games, and great music.
Children will have the opportunity to give an offering which will be used to purchase supplies for flood buckets and personal hygiene kits that will be given to the Festival of Sharing mission outreach program. The Festival of Sharing will distribute the buckets and kits to those affected by disasters throughout the United States, and also world-wide.
Parents or guardians need to be present at the beginning of the first night to sign registration forms for their children.
