The Bowling Green High School volleyball squad took Wright City to three games Thursday night, but did not come out on top for their Senior Night.
The Junior Varsity team won in two games.
Varsity started very slow, losing 25-10. They then came back in the second game to win 25-18. Their third game was intense. The girls started with a big lead, and it slowly dwindled down. They ended up losing 25-22. As a team, their passing efficiency was 2.25 out of 3.0. They had seven aces and only six missed serves in three games.
Seniors Darby Edmond, Kylie Storts, and Megan Hakenwerth, served 39 of their 57 attempts.
Kaitlyn Niemeyer and Ella Klott earned seven kills each, with Hakenwerth earning five kills. Ella Klott, Emily Henson, and Evan Scherder each had two blocks.
The girls took on Montgomery County in an away game Tuesday night. This was their last match of the season.
