Bill Mallory is an inspiration to all, especially cancer patients, as he celebrates his 99th birthday at the James E. Cary Cancer.
His fighting spirit and positive attitude are what keeps him going through radiation treatments after recently being diagnosed with cancer.
As a World War II veteran, Bowling Green High School Ag teacher for 41 years, and Mason for over 75 years, Mallory has been a pillar of the Bowling Green community and has made an impact on countless lives over the years.
“If you want to stay young, stay healthy,” Mallory said.
Advice that many area residents should take to heart.
