We asked, and you commented. Last week, the Bowling Green Times asked its Facebook followers what they think about disciplinary regulations within the school system. Here are some of your answers…

“Kate Middleton has given birth to the royal baby! Prince William and Kate welcomed a baby boy at 4:24 PM BST, weighing 8 lbs 6 oz.. His Royal Highness the Prince of Cambridge’s name has not yet been released.

What’s your reaction, Bowling Green? Thrilled? Irritated? Let us know!”

Your Answers:

“agree there are more important things to focus on then a baby being born in another country that doesn’t affect us. While I am glad baby and mother are both healthy and doing good I am just not interested in this matter at all. There are other things going on in the United States or even local that need attention more then this matter. For example alot of locals take float trips down Meramec River and there was a shooting death” – Sylvia L Rousan-Elliott

“While the birth of a baby is always cause for celebration, I’m not personally affected by this baby’s birth. I hope he and Kate are healthy, but other than that, I’m just disinterested.” – Rachel Guritz

“I think that it is really neat that our generation is witnessing the birth of the Royal Baby. I can’t wait to hear what they name him.” – Amber Alyse Grote

“I am happy for them. I actually guessed right for one time” – Lisa Johnson-Griffith

“Exactly what they said. ^^^ Who cares?” – Matthew Kingpin Charlton

“No offense but it doesn’t affect our country in any way as of now, does it really matter?” – Carman Gerard

“Yay, could not be happier for them. Who can’t be happy about a baby coming. Everyone loves the babies. Awesome.” – Dawn Burgett

“Glad there is something good in the news. There r so many reports of killings lately being able to report a birth is a welcome change.” – Amy Wasson

“Our country’s founders fought for independence so we wouldn’t have to care about the royal baby.” – Andrew Stapleton

“glad momma & baby are doing well but, im not interested in that” – Betty Green

“Don’t give a rip.” – Kelly James Taylor Blankenship

“I’m pretty excited my 2 year old son shares a birthday with the royal baby!” – Kelly J Cunningham-Rhoades
