Zane Scott accepted medical school in Bradenton Florida

Zane Scott, of Bowling Green, has been accepted to the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Fla. Zane graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2004. In order to use his A+ Scholarship, he attended St. Charles Community College. Zane then graduated with a double major from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Chemistry and Biology. In 2012 he received his Master’s Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Bioinformatics from UMKC. In July 2013 he will start his medical schooling in Bradenton, Fla. His future plans are to become an anesthesiologist. Zane is the son of Mary Tinsley Scott and the late Zane Scott.
